Due to an0n being bored, and therefore banning me from Nodewars, FSCZ is moving to Sectorgame. For those that don't know, Freespace 2: Conflict Zone is a league in which teams are fighting to control nodes which give them resources to build more ships. It's a game of galactical conquest that takes place using the FreeSpace2 engine. We intend to become a sort of Squadwar for FSO. Be sure to check out the screenshot galery here:

We are always looking for people to help, the most needed positions are:
• FREDders: We need people to make template maps for the new systems.
• PHP coders: We need someone to make all the fancy scripts for automation.
The new website location is here:
http://www.sectorgame.com/FSCZ/
and the forums are located here:

And slowly, slowly, we gather them into our net...

eh?
SG has an even lower member count then Warpstorm, heck, even lower then NW........
but it's a fun place, i geuss, a lot more relaxed then other forums.
-
yeah...
now lets get the c....errr....'stuff' done and spam it everywhere ;)
-
i'll work later, right now i have trouble staying awake.......
But if anyone wants to help, and see the cutsc...err thingy before we release it, we can use FREDders, PHP coders and off course testers.

slowly, slowly,
Well, people dont go over there much because there's nothing to see. Partly that's maybe our (TI's) fault, as, since WCSaga left, we were the only really big project there, and we tend to post stuff on HLP - though that's changing now. After all, the VWatch forums were pretty quiet, except for BWO and TBP - perhaps FSCZ and TI can get SG going again...to an extent anyway.[/color]
-
well, FSCZ might just bring some more people in, from the old SW groups, but we really need some extra help to get that going quick.
-
post the old thingy then, with the promise that we're working on something newer (which we are...at least, will be, once i can get FRED to recognize my new #$()*@$)# drivers and version of opengl)
-
post a link to the right old thingy in the internal,, i'll throw in some music and we can post it.
-
uhh...we cant, remember? The host where it was is down.
I can post the mission though, you can play through and record a bit better I think :D
-
err no, i got everything you posted on me HD, i just need to know wich one it was.
-
dont use that one. i got a slightly better version with me, with fixed background stuff.
I'll put it up in the new internal :)
-
Well, I for one am just happy that FSCZ has a home and has hit the ground running. Different hosts don't matter in the end, it's being alive and active and serving the community that counts. And you're definitely doing that. Keep up the great effort, kas. :)
-
thanks.
could you be so kind as post the news thingy i "suggested" by clicking the "suggest as news post" link?
-
*raised eyebrow* Sorry, I haven't received any suggestion like that through my email... :nervous: You could always submit a news post straight to the front page (make sure you login), and I can approve it for you in a single click. :)
-
k, willdo.
-
done.
-
I did a spell check, fixed your links and gave you some line breaks there, kas, as well as taking out some stuff that isn't really suitable for the front page. Done.
-
thank you.
edit: erm, i can't see a new news post, is it just me?
