Title: Need help with PCS
Post by: ShadowPuppet on April 21, 2004, 08:53:03 am
Bobboau ... especially !!

I am just getting back into modding FS2 after a break, and I could use some sort of help ( or a manual!) for PCS. The tutorial site which I used to get to grips with PCS last time is down ... along with much else on the volitionwatch site :(

I need to know what the Truespace heirarchy has to be for PCS to auto-gen the engine glows etc.

What should I call the TS groups, and how should things be attached.

Any help would be appreciated :D

You can get the answers to that one in my turretting tutorial and in IP Andrews Ship Creation guide too. But yeah a new link to Bobs tutorial would be helpful as that's a pretty good tut too :)

Thanks Bobboau :) I really appreciate it!

IPA's tutorial I have in hard-copy, but it doesn't go over the specifics as far as PCs is concerned.  Also, the turreting tutorial covers turrets, but again is more generic.

It's only when a website like volitionwatch goes that you realise just how much stuff it had on !! This time round I am burning it all to CD just in case!
