lol, nice.
I'm presuming you made it?
My only suggestion that for a badguy he doesn't look evil enough.
:) Maybe some think eyebrows, or a small hitler clitche moustache...

-
Bosch is not evil.
-
No being, in and of itself can be evil. But all beings are capable of performing evil actions.
Bosch performed some pretty evil actions.
-
LOL swell :D
-
he needs to cover the lower half of his face with his hands to hide the fact that they didn't have time to make it
-
For some strange reason, I always thought he had a beard?
Ah well, I'm probs just losing it :D
Nice picture as always Carl :)
-
bosch doesn't have a beard. look at the briefing animation cb_sm1_01_b.ani in tango1
-
Hmmmmmmm... look at Head-BSHa in sparky.vp.
It's kinda a difficult to tell, maybe he just hasn't had time to shave for a few days ;)
Edit : He certainly doesn't have a beard in the ani you mentioned though Carl.
-
lol,
I reckon he's evil... He should look more menacing at the least... But yeh, I'm just raving...
nice work again Carl

:yes2::lol::yes:
I have been waiting for stuff like this
-
i was always under the assumption that he had a beard and mustache, too. :doubt:
-
He does have a mustache, I think...
-
Hmmmmmmm... Well, Carl is right about the Ani he quoted, but just out of interest, I doubled the size of a frame from an in-game ani...

In that not only does he appear to have some kind of inverse goatee, but actually looks quite old. Come to think of it, he says in the titles 'They call us the lost generation'. If that's the case, he fought in the great war 30 years before FS2, which makes him around 50 at least :)
-
it does look like he has a beard in that pic, but it's so subtle it might just be the lighting.
-
In the last cutscene he does say he fought against the GTI, but I don't think that Bosch was the guy in the titles-the guy there had nothing but praise for the GTVA.

I had a hunch maybe that in Silent Threat you played as Bosch.
It just seems right
-
For some reason, when I first heard him speak I expected "If you destroy this installation you sign the death warrant of our race, dumbass!"

Bosch fought in the Hades rebellion - thats where he collected his knowledge about the shivans. He is/was the only one who knew about all the secret research that had been done with shivans, and that got lost with the Hades rebellion.
-
Lightspeed's got it - Bosch was a GTA pilot during the days of the Hades. That's where ETAK all got started.
And btw, I like the picture, Carl. :D
-
Bosch was secretly supported by the GTVA,
evidence: in mission 3 (one of my favorites) they pulled the blockade and gave you the wrong coordinates so he could escape. Alpha 2 or 3 figures it out which is why Command gets pissed at him and tells him to shut up.
-
lol, I just played that mission. It looks GREAT in FSOPEN!

Don't act so suprised. He is an Admiral after all. I'd guess they don't just hand those out like free samples on Sunday.
-
bosch looks asian or eastern(chinese) to me
-
wah? you must be making out the poor quality screenshot wrong. there's no way he's asian.
-
Actually, your drawing makes him look asian-esque. Around the cheeks, like an old chinese master.

No, I think the GTVI knew about ETAK but were not in league with him, so they wanted Bosch and the Iceni alive so they could observe ETAK until the time was right.
-
hmmm... maybe so, I guess only [V] knows though.

They never expected him to get as far as he did.

I find it hard to believe that a group of NTF could completely shut down the Colossus's entire fire control system, so I'm betting the GTVI did it. Bosch never refered to them in the cutscenes or elsewhere, so I still don't think that there was partnership, but the GTVI was helping him every step of the way.
Bosch must have jumped to the Knossos knowing the Collossus would probably blow him away:blah:
-
I meant the GTVI obviously didnt want Bosch to join the shivans and destroy his ETAK capital ship. They never expected to 'lose control' of him. What they wanted is to see his device to be perfected in action and capture it.
-
I think the NTF are perfectly capable of taking out the fire control system on the Colossus for a short period of time, long enough for the Iceni to escape at least. After all, simply breaking the fire control system would be enough, it would still take at least a minute or two to get it back up or get backups on-line, even after minor damage.
I agree LS, the GTVI was seeing some useful research being done for them free of charge. It also makes sense to assume that the GTVI were aware of Bosch's intentions to open the Knossos portal before he actually did it, and I'm pretty sure they knew what was beyond it as well as he did.
