-

-

-

Free drugs? Where!!!11!oneoneone!
Sorry, I just had to.....
Seriously though, it's GS Kazan, and the ad offers advice on stopping yourself or other people who are on marijuana. I don't have anything against the ad in principal as such, however, it seems to be on my screen, together with that life jacket one, more than any other by a margin of about 95% :(
-
So what's the big deal? It's drug awareness...
-
Just legalize it already and there won't be a problem.

You know the libertarian in me is starting to agree with you. :nervous:
-
except for the increased number of schitzophrenic teens and adults out there.
-
To: The World,
I hate you
Sincerely, Josh
-
Bah... Josh, if you smoked, you'd love everybody and not care about the world.

Did it before...

I had to attend a full-dress, extended family thanksgiving dinner...
40 minutes after taking two hits of particularly strong LSD.
Ever heard a cooked turkey scream before?:nervous:

Lol, you guys remember those public service announcements about 15-18 years ago where a kid is playing guitar on his bed and his dad walks in holding a half-open cigar box and asks him:
"Where did you get this?! Where did you learn to do this?!"
And the kid, with a tormented face that looks like his puppy just got caught in a working blender yells, "YOU DAD!! I LEARNED IT BY WATCHING YOU!!!"
I used to laugh my butt off at that commercial...

You're my new hero.
I did have that little purple ****er Spyro the dragon dancing on a very thin white line on my trainers. In a club, a club where the people had broken down into little particles of energy and were reacting to the energy from the speakers.
Drugs are bad.

LOL!
I could probs reminisce all night about all night band rehearsals, and other stuff we used to get up to....
Ah well, bills beat thrills :( LOL
Must get copies of some of the stuff we recorded one day! :)
-
I've recorded one song in my entire career while "under the influence" (minus gin and beer of course).
I thought it was brilliant. I am also an id10t.
"Darlene Lickalotapuss and the Revenge of Mr. Tasty".
Drugs are bad mmmmkay?? hahahahahah

I would like to hear that song. It sounds like the title of a Ween song or something.

What kind of stuff did you used to play?
Me and a friend have been trying to get a band together but the main problem is rehearsal space, can't find anywhere round here that isn't just blatant money grabbing con men who own sheds. Plus the fact we suck, but that can be worked on. :)

Oh no, that is only dragged out for humiliation of...me.
Of course, I can always fire back with a recording from 1989 of me and the bassist practicing The Cure's "A Short Term Effect" with him singing.
Picture a genetic fusion of Thom Yorke and Shane MacGowan being punched in the stomach repeatedly while trying to belt out that tune and you can approximate the sensation.

Kinda like Bjork then?
;)
-
ROFL! We were mainly influenced by stuff like Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Seattle Grunge mainly, but usually with a melodic lean :D
Finding rehearsal space can be a *****, we were lucky, as Dan's Dad was an Optician and had a large workshop in the back garden referred to as the 'Shed' where we could rehearse with 100 Watt amps and not be disturbed. You know, they were probably the most fun I had in my life, I'd recommend forming a band to anyone with musical ability, even if you just bring along cans, it's still one hell of a time :)
We actually have a mini-album (not official, obviously, just made for ourselves) called 'Tales from the shed', which is the live recording I'm trying to get hold of, and two 4-track albums called 'Uneasy listening' and 'deep joy' (note the non-capitalisation). I need to get my hands on those and get them off 4-track cassette.
-
We had a shed, unfortunately once we'd done all the donkey work and cleaned it out my mates dad stole it back. The bastard. I never really got into Alice in Chains but damn I love Soundgarden and if there was a band I could aspire to be it'd be them or this band Amen. Who's music very much belies there name.
Glen Matlock of the Pistols called them the angriest band he'd ever heard, probably right too, those are another major influence on me.
Also, musical ability is a moot point when you consider Avril Lavigne. :)

Definitely. Makes me laugh what people are willing to call 'rock chicks' nowadays. I mean, Courtney Love is a skanky ****ing whore but at least she was one of her own free will and not being told to be by some asshole with his cock in her ass.
-
Well, the death knell was 4-non-heterosexuals, and that bloody song 'What's up?'
-
I blame society. Just because I can and it makes me look intellectual. :)
Actually, to drag this thing back on topic slightly, I still can't see the banners (not that I care) so I can't see what the one for mary jane is about. I'm assuming it's something like freevibe.com , so laughably one sided it's worth visiting for a laugh every now and again.
"What's your favourite anti-drug?"
"Taking an extremely large dose of psilocyllic mushrooms, stripping naked and dancing on a nature reserve to extremely noisy music whilst proclaiming myself to be the god of the moon"
They never posted that one, what a jip.

They don't really bother me that much, I just wish there was a bit more variation to them to be honest, If I'm going to get Eye-candy, at least let me get lots of eye-candy ;)
That reminds me, gotta find a decent DirectX free screensaver..... Google time I think :D
