I mean the FS1 movies!!!
NOT I CONVERT THEM! I said I only had the FS1 intro on my Hard Drive! I downloaded it from a thread here.
-
Do you mean the music from the cutscenes? As far as I know only the intro has been converted.
-
I mean the WHOLE movie. Not only the music. And I mean FreeSpace 1.
You converted the Hall Fight, as far as I know. You had a thread about it. But by the time I could start downloading it, you removed it.
-
When you refer to converting them to MP3 you should understand why you confused people :) Had you said avi we might have known what you wanted. :p
As far as I know all the movies from FS1 are still up on Fractux's FTP.
-
That's a good news.

I was wondering if an new mkv: xvid/divx + ogg file could result in better results than what the last conversions came up with (I mean size/quality wise). The ogg could definitly truncate the file somewhat moreover it's a free format, and so is Xvid.
BTW with mkv we could implement multi-language support in the future, either through subtitling movies/cutscenes or putting in several audio tracks.

If it were possible(and more straightforward), others would have done it already.

Crappy net!
Sorry for the double post again.
-
It is possible, but video conversion is never downright straightforward - I don't know what exactly you wanted to imply with that -, but the greatest problem with it takes a frickkin lot of time.
-
I think you'd have more skipping problems if you did it that way too, since the video or audio could run into skipping problems independently.
