This is something I found in the FSPort: You have a ship (say, a Fenris) with
its initial weapons set up as Terran Turrets instead of the normal FS2 beams.
In this scenario, the ship is damaged at the beginning of the mission, so its
turret subsystems are initially set to 0%. Later, a transport docks with the
cruiser and repairs these subsystems. These repaired turrets revert back to
their original ships.tbl armament instead of those specified in the mission.

FRED2 seems to the in the habit of erasing the departure targets I set for fighter wings. I set the appropriate value, then later when I save the mission it gives me an error message stating that the wing in question has no valid departure target - and sure enough if I check, the box is empty. Seems to be fairly random.


Is anyone still experiencing these bugs, or know anything more about them? I couldn't reproduce either one.

I've seen the second one myself but since It's been a while since I last FREDded I haven't seen it for a while so I can't say if it's still there.
