It's interesting to read Vladmir Putins' comments at the end of the Red Square Parade..... I could draw comparisons here, but I'll leave that to other people ;)

Aside from the fact that some innocents got hurt, I say good. The Chechens have every right to kill the people who were/are responsible for their oppression. Chechnya is essentially Russia's Palestine, but they get off scott-free because everyone is too busy hating on the US.

Except I know from first hand reports, as well as a vareity of media sources, that they (the Albanians in Kosovo) were not being oppressed, especially not for years and years. Quite the opposite actually.
I spoke too soon, I think. It would appear that the President who was killed, though currently pro-Russian, was actually a rebel leader during the 90s. Though of course, the election which put him into power was highly suspect, I expected no less.
