... so go sign this petition (http://www.petitiononline.com/8675305/petition.html)
They have about 1700 signatures. I figured 2000 or so from HLP (that's the approx. population right?) couldn't hurt. :D
-
Hahaha. 2000 people on HLP. Good one.
-
:P whatev
-
id say about 50 of those 2000 are active, and thats pushing it
-
I just looked at the members list. there are about 320 people with more than 100 posts. Anyway... you two both signed already, of course.
-
Yes.......'signed'.....indeed.
-
suuuuuuure i did...
-
If you wanna... you know... do some 'creative coding' and add about 100,000 signatures, you can.
-
Urgh.
I'll see if I can edit my Blazin' Squad auto-voter.
-
cool.

Please tell me you used this invention for the pupose of good and not evil? :wtf:
-
This is an0n we're talking about...
-
There was a competition where whichever school in the North East voted the most on the Blazin' Squad site got a free concert by the cock-smokers.
So my sister had me make an auto-voter that voted once every 30 seconds (the site lagged and I need to make sure each vote went through). The girls would get to see the Pop-fags, the boys would get to abuse the Pop-fags and I'd be a hero to hundreds of hot young girls.
They still lost, because Eastbourne sent like 40 kids home to vote all day. ****ing cheaters.
-
-
I don't trust anyone who ommits a "g" at the end. Its leads me to believe that they are either hillbilly Southerners, or trying to look "hip".
....or both :wtf: :wtf:

What scares me is thinking about what you could do if you actually wanted to...

Should work.
Note: I said 'SHOULD' work.
I make no guarantees. And since every e-mail address on the petition signings has to not bounce back an "Invalid e-mail address" message, I've had to set my server to grab every vote confirmation made as a result of this and my Outlook to immediately delete them all. This will rape bandwidth through the e-mails and the refreshing, so ****ING APPRECIATE IT.
If it works, that is.
Leave the window open and it should vote once every 5 seconds.
Leave 10 windows open and it should vote 10 times every 5 seconds.
And I'll get 10 e-mails every 5 seconds.
-
Are you speaking of Eastbourne UK? It's just that that's in the south east... not the north east.
-
It's also a district in my town.
-
"It appears as though your signature does not originate from PetitionOnline.
Please go to the petition page and submit your signature again."
-
Works fine for me.
-
It got 22 fake votes in before the system twigged.
-
Hmmm.
The system didn't twig.
It started kicking up a fuss when I set it to use a random number as the name.
-
Easily fixed.
Gimme 5 minutes to find that random text javascript thing and fill it with names.
-
Hmmm. It's that Review field that's causing the trouble.
-
This is gonna require some audience participation.
-
ooh ooh! Pick me! Pick me!
-
There ya go, people.
When the review code changes, follow the instructions at the top of the page and it'll put a valid code into the database for the voter to grab and use.
-
Dammit.
Forgot HostDime don't allow remote MySQL linking.
Use this: http://www.penguinbomb.com/voter
-
Well, that didn't work.
They must be using something else to check the referer. Like decent code.
Who'da thunk it?
I could probably spoof the code somehow, but I can't be bothered.
Yet another project ended before it reached completion.
-
Mother-FUCKERS!
It's got nothing to do with the referer.
They just check the e-mail is unique and the Review value is the Name run through some MD5 thing.
Ah, screw it. I could figure out what to do to the name, but I don't feel like it.
-
Programmers...they always fascinate...and frighten :)
-
Aha. No need to.
It apparently only uses the first coupla letters.
It should work fine now.
-
What if someone checks the names and/or email addresses? It gonna look pretty suspicous.
And don't overdo it, 18 million votes isn't going to look legit :D:D
-
It's not refreshing for some reason.
Hmmm.
-
I little javascript theft and.......
VOILA!
-
Why do it yourself when you know someone already did it, and better?
-
Exactly.
Well, not exactly. I coulda done it better but I don't feel like spending 3 hours emersing myself in the study of Javascript to make it when I can spend 5 seconds copy-pasting some free code.
-
Yup.
That's how college should work. :sigh:

It scares me when I find An0n cool. But oh well, that's life.
-
Interesting. Current count is 1880. I'll open a "few" windows and go have a bath.
-
Hmph. Its gone down...
-
I guess they twigged.
-
Jesus! No ****ing wonder.
I got 2336 "You have signed" e-mails.
I guess 2336 signatures from Random Guy peaked their interest and they culled a load of signatures.
-
Whoops...guess that was my bad huh ;)
(Note to self: Never open 20 self-refreshing windows and then go away for a bath - leaving them running).
