Go, snap up all the good 9800 Pros before they're all gone.

Already got mine. More bang for the buck than the XT I'd be willing to wager.
-
Got mine. Not sure how to tell if it's the faster version or not though.
-
I knew it... as soon as I buy my 9600xt, the 9800 pro's go... ATi = Buggers. All of them.
Edit: Oh well, what do I care, this thing is pumped.
-
Its just like how the FX5600 and FX5800 are relatively unseen these days...as well as the Radeon 9700Pro which I currently own.
With the new generation out the top of the medium and high end from the previous generation are the only ones that are worth maintaining. The 9800XT is going to surely drop in price quite a bit over the next few months and the 9600XT remains an excellent buy.
-
On a side note, I'm sure you all know that there are going to be 4 high-end lines for the next generation cards?
6800 = x800
6800 GT = x800 Pro
6800 Ultra = x800 XT
6800 Ultra Extreme = x800 XT Platinum Edition
-
And to further that statement, AGP is going by the wayside as well, so these cards we see today are nothing compared to what we will see in the future.
-
whatever you do, don't get any SE
-
Don't worry about it. Remember the 9200? Well, the 6400 (i think) will be the relabeled 9800.
-
stealth - isnt there a way of enabling the pipelines that they disable with the SE's?
-
On some, yes. Just like with the old 9500s.
-
Hmmm, if I get a new PC soon, it may have a 9800 Pro in it... though I'll probably too late. Someone'll have to be able to tell me which will be the next chipset at the price/performance point. :)
-
A nice 9700 Pro will be enough for me.

Give it a month or so and the 9800XT will be at that point.
