Just thought it'd be interesting to know.
-
Like, as a friend? Or just someone who you met once?
-
no meeting just once. it has to be a friend.
-
I met Madeleine Albright a few months back.
-
I know no-one of notoriety.
Come to think of it, I've never even seen anyone famous in person (panto excluded).
-
Well, I know a few famous people, but their like, famous in estonian terms, which means that barring Ashrak, no-one will have ever heard of them.
-
John Updike (poet) was my neighbor for 3 years...
-
Wasn't he mentioned in the Simpsons?
-
I think...
-
This guy (http://www.artistsuk.net/acatalog/ARTISTS_UK__STANDARD_PRINTS_AND_SIGNED_STANDARD_PRINTS_117.html) was my neighbour when I was a kid.
EDIT : Remove the %20 if the link doesn't work.
And I do know a third world presidents daughter. I got an invite to visit the palace but couldn't afford the air fair.
-
Know one special, but my dad is drinking buddies with oklahoma state representatives
-
Me. :p

Met Robert Sawyer twice who is Canada's #1 sci-fi author. He has me confused with my cousin I think but thats ok...I guess some people know my aunt too so I guess she's kinda famous but authors rarely are superstar in stature and thats probably a good thing.
I met a CBC news anchor once as well...minor claims to fame really.
-
I Design Websites for Sue Foley (Musician) and James Cohen (Musician) and met both and work closely with them almost daily.
Maybe not uber famous, but to anyone who knows blues or flamenco these two are dominant in those scenes.
-
My mum used to be a news reporter for the biggest TV station in Malaysia. :)
-
That's like saying she rode the fastest camel in Russia.
-

-

My friend got punched by Adam Sandler (American actor/comedian) once.. she thought he was a jerk, I would agree. XD
-
:wtf: Shouldn't she be the one to punch him for all of his stupid baby talk comedy?
