I plan to change the blue texture to purple and the crome texture to look more tiled... :sigh:

The mapping is awful. When it's that bad you should just show the model untextured.

As for the shape. Well it's better than my first efforts :D

It looks little too much like a hat made out of a newspaper for my liking, but keep bashing at it! Same as Kara, it's better than my first efforts! :)

Stylize it a bit and give it some blue textures and it could be a realy, realy, REALY old Minbari warship from Babylon 5.

Armour: try your hand at creating an actual texture for it instead of just tiling random metal plates.  The model has promise, but the tiled textures you're using just kill it

Would, but I can't think of anything currently that would work, maybe some patterns engraved somewhere. I guess it'll hit me when I think of it.

I'd make the barrel a slightly grainy black... gun metal-ish... then the silver portion I would make looke like dull grey submarine plating or something to that effect (rivetted plates) and the purple part could be like diamond cut plating or make them solid purple with a glow map or something to that effect... :)
