I'm having to download a 16mb codec pack to play the audio on a 10mb movie.
Microsoft can officially suck my dick.
What kind of morons pack their OS with default codecs, but don't bother to put a single friggin one of them for download on their site.
Wasted a good hour looking for the ADPCM codec and crashed the computer trying to install it from files already on my computer.
Now I'm just sick of it. I'm just grabbing the Tsunami pack and hoping for the best.

get the Nimo codec pack, it has pretty much everything. There is one other all-inclusive codec packm though I forget the name...
-
codec packs, bleh.
Last time I installed nimo, all my Divx turned green.
Green.
Well, in a way, that was interesting.
For about 1 or 2 seconds, the "WTF" moment.

You can't get Nimo anymore. Every download I've found of it was been some DVD-Cloner thing.

The final K-Lite codec pack is A1 SUPAR in my experience

Never thought of that.
I think Windows is actively trying to stop me playing with the ADPCM codec. Every time I try to do or install something that will change it, the computer seizes up.

Look for Matroska - they have an all inclusive package, but thank God it is nothing like the things Nimo did.
BTW don't touch codec packs with a ten foot pole if you can avoid it.
