This campaign is supposed to be the antecedent of ITHOV. Uses no mods. Four little simple missions. The missions are FREDed by Thor, I also added a few messages and made the missions a bit more colorful.

From the homepage of ITHOV:
It is six years after the destruction of the Capella Star. The GTVA has fallen upon hard times. Pirates have all but seized power in far off systems like Tania Austrailis, and the Alliance is sliding ever closer to a galactic depression. Despite this economic turmoil, the Graeme-Nef'tu Group has set up shop in that far away system, despite the pirates. Co-owner Nef'tu's younger brother, General Assembly Representative Nan'su of Altair, has a bold plan to restore stability to GTVA's systems. He is coming to Beta Aquilae to ensure it success, and the 70th Blue Lions must ensure he arrives. For there a dissidents and fanatics who want to stop our last hope. The future lies in your hands.
Police Action is a four mission mini campaign that acts as the setup for the main ITHOV campaign. It stars Cmd. Wesley McCrae (player), a seasoned survivor of Capella. Police Action sets the stage for the thrilling campaign to come.

It's good to have you here. :)

Completed the minicampaign, and the last mission makes me wish if the campaign wasn't cancelled :doubt:
Just some minor quibbles but the "Return to Base" or "Jump Out" objective is missing in the second and the fourth mission. I had to dig through the message log in the second mission to find out that I'm authorised to jump out, and there was just no mention about it in the last mission.
The last mission also made some references to the transmission made by a vessel in the second mission, but I never get to hear (or read) about the said transmissions.
Still, it's quite a nice job overall.

It is strange, I paid special attention for these. I hope I gave you the best version. :)
What transmission? The one related to Operation Valhalla?
-
I took a look at Mission 2, and I took the conclusion that you SHOULD see the 'Return to base'.
-
Yes, that's the transmission I was referring to.
Is the Orion Destroyer in Mission 2 supposed to transmit anything or get blown up? I played through the mission twice and all it did was sit and float in space.
There was no Return To Base objective listed and I just hit max time acceleration and blew it to pieces. Still nothing.
-
I must test that mission ASAP.
[EDIT] I tested the campaign again and it was terrible. In mission 2, the RTB directive only appears after the destruction of the GTD Moscow.
-
I liked it. Will there be more based on that story line?
-
If ShadowWolf finshes ITHOV or I become more enthusiastic, there will be.
-
No more comments?

Worked flawlessly for me. Nice work, Topace.

Nice work TopAce, time to get downloading! Phew. ;)
