Title: multyplayer games

does anyone know some multyplayer game (dosent have to be MMO) which is something like Darkspace or Eve-online ... the only reason i didnt like EVE is because of the idiotic skill training :(

There's an e-mail based version of UFO : Enemy Unknown (X-Com to you Yanks). I've not tried it but  I can't really think of a finer turn-based game to convert :)
