I'm planning on re-releasing a tweaked version of the ancient campaign Cardinal Spear.
So I'm looking for some folks to do a run through of the campaign. It's short, quick, not a ton of plot, compared to most story-driven campaigns, and a lot of action. So PM me if you're interested and I'll send the link over for the file.

Either you've gotten this before, or you're going to get this soon...
Why not release it as an FSPort-compatible campaign? There are many people here who don't have FS2, and it makes sense to take the extra step if you're retweaking it anyway.
You also get all the improvements that go along with it.
Just my $.02 (And for the record, I DO have FS1, but I'm still not through with FS2 campaigns yet, and I'm not a very good beta-tester for missions/campaigns in general because I like to play them too much. ;) And I go a bit heavy on the criticism)

Because converting is a lot more work then it looks like, and its pretty common for it to not work... Plus, FS1 just has a totally different feeling to it...
I'll gladly test...

If I could ever get my FS1 to use Hardware acceleration, I would test it, sure. I liked FS1's feeling better than FS2's anyway.
-
I will too.

The FS port folks have it on their list of campaigns to convert over, so don't feel left out.
I'm going to re-release the FS1 version so those without FS2 (some folks don't even have the underdogs or open source versions) can play it.
Anyway, send over a PM Hippo and mrduckman and I'll send over the link.

Quite a few more tweaks have been made. I'm PMed Hippo and Mrduckman download links.
I've made some changes according to WMCoolmon's comments.
If nothing else is found, it'll be ready for release. But I want to wait to make sure there's nothing else sneaking around ready to attack.

I'll test it tonight. Thanks for sending me it :)

The first mission runs well.
I had to figure out which file should where. But seems to be ok. I'll test further later.

Well I've gotten a bit of feedback on the first four missions, but not a lot on the last ones.
I want to make sure that there's nothing wrong I haven't caught yet before releasing it.

I hope to finish testing this sunday.
