while I was out today on a bike ride my sister called me to tell me that mom had let the dogs out in the back, she (the dog) jumped the fence and got hit by a car, I was about 30 miles away by this point so I just tryed to keep going though I made very little progress for the next hour or two, she was a nice little dog exeptionaly energetic and always seemingly happy, even though she was caged up most of the time, we never let her out becase she always jumped the fence, and we were worried she would get hit by a car...
from what I gather is was a slow death, as they had time to "say goodby"
and now were left with that other horable dog I ****ing hate...
that ****ing pisses me off, the happy-go-lucky energetic dog with and infinet well of love and decent blader controle is killed horificly and the old anti-socal piss and crap all the hell over were and what ever the hell he pleases dog is still here...

Alas it's always the trusting, curious ones that get into trouble :(

Man, sorry to hear that.
Was this the pup you found on that other bike ride a while back?
-
:(
One thing though Bob, don't take your anger out on the other dog by shutting him/her out. He/she might not show it as openly as the dog you lost but he/she does love you. Always as long as you treat them right.
My sincerest condolences.

[color=66ff00]No luck dude. My friend's black labby was run down, really miffed him off. They have a lovely pair now, a totally silly but fun Springer and a 'I love everyone, please burgle the house while I lick you' Irish setter.
Never had a dog myself but I can see how attached it's possible to get to them.

that was a cat (that I found on the bike ride, kas is misremembering), I have 3 cats (includeing the one I found) and now only the one horable dog that I don't have any feelings other than utter spite for who I tolorated only becase the good dog seemed to like him.
I'm not letting the cats even think about going outside, becase we live on a busy road, and people actualy aim for cats :doubt:

My condolences Bob. I've also had too many animals die in the same way. :(
-
My condolences....
I have a dog too, and he is like a brother to me...
Love him more than most humans I know...
and erm....why do you spite the other dog?
Animals are like children...never evil, just...ignorant.... I like all dogs..Come to think of it, I like all the animals..

my condolances :(
