Man, that is just sweet. Truly awesome work there.
-
duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude :eek2:
-
Wow, pretty. Got a photo we can compare this to? :)
-
Which program(s) did you use?
-
Same as always. Truespace 4.3 for modeling/rendering and photoshop to make the textures.
-
Looks awesome :) But somehow I get the feeling the light is a bit iffy. Cant really put my finger on it though.
-
It's awesome.
But the gate needs a better texture.

You're missing the 15ft statue of Athena in the centre, but other than that, it's very well done. You say you did that in Truespace, eh? Interesting...
-
L33t.
-
Cooool...although it's a bit grey compared to the real Capitol.
-
Great render, I never thought you could do that in Truespace.
-
Great, simply superb :nod::yes:
-
Woah. :eek2:

He could, but making things like these in GtkRadiant is much simpler. :)

Ah, I see what's wrong with that picture. The light on the floor from the windows. It's too uniform. Sunlight always diverges and diminishes into shadow. The light on the ground is just as if pieces of white paper are lying on the floor.
-
I think I could get a better render (lightwise) in Max if you can lend me the model. :)

Speaking of which - it'd be neat if the room was slightly dusty... had a warmer orange light to it - which could be coming through the ring of windows around-mid way up. They'd carve a really nice set of rays through the dust.

Chairs?
-
Awesome.
-
YES!
-
Whose senate meets here?
-
Coo'.
Yeah, which Senate building?
