before you totally praise Styxx, I (yes, me) designed it  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

it was originally meant to be an SOC destroyer...  its fast, powerful & compact (its fighterbay is tiny) meaning it would be hard to detect as it moved behind enemy lines...

I have no idea what Styxx is going to do with it though  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

btw, Styxx, does it still have the geo-modable bridge?

Nope, no more geomoddable bridge...

And I gave you the credits on the MT site, sorry for not mentioning it here. And it's slightly larger than an Iceni, but I'll make it 30% bigger - it seems too small for a destroyer that way. I'll post a size comparison chart soon.

That's a big turret, and it has been designed by me  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) ( unless Styxx got rid of it to put back the old one, I can't say for sure with this pic )

Post by: Styxx on July 12, 2001, 09:17:00 am
Actually, I just removed a few faces from your design. A turret with over 100 polys is not something you want on your ship...  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)
