As some of you might know, a few days ago I implemented some code that would load only the used weapons in a mission instead of every single one. At least, I thought it would.
However, while running one of the Derelict missions (attached for your comfort) FS2 kept on crashing I did a little debugging, and found out that a ship was firing a Harpoon - which was mentioned nowhere in the mission file. The ships that would have Harpoons - the drone Lokis - were refitted with Harpoon#Weaks.
My question, do/should ships in a respawning wing have the same loadout as the first wing? Is this an older bug with FRED, or am I missing something in the mission?

In theory, they do. Or at least they are supposed to. Respawning wings should be identical to the original wings. If they aren't, it counts as a bug in my book.

i agree with stratcomm, but to the best of my knowledge, this is new. I have never had this problem. Treat it like a bug, squash it and feed it to your ex.

I'm not 100% sure they do, but I don't think any other ship in the mission has Harpoons as its default loadout. So they're prime suspect.
If anyone else knows of a time that ships can warp in with weapons not mentioned in the mission file, please feel free to contribute. :nod:
