How long before the scp replacement for pxo is up, cos there lots of people who want to play fs2 online, but cant unless they already know each other and do an ip game...
WE NEEED A LOBBY!! AND A GAME TRACKER!!
plus theres all those people who bought freespace 2 when it was re-released as an anniversary edition by interplay just before they went splat. 2000 copies, and none of them can play multiplayer until a new pxo is up :S
That sucks....
Theres still a few squads out there who still play regularly, theres lots of potential for freespace 2 to become popular again especially with 3.6 being soo good.
please make it work sooooon :)

yeah, i tried my hand at PXO back when i had a 56k, but nowadays, i'm eagerly awaiting the "tweaked" netcode..

I heard that the netcode was all finished and that just a server was required, it cant be that difficult to get a server with a decent connection, all it needs to do is handle ppl logging in and out, the lobby(which is just an irc server), recording stats (database), and tracking games (somekind of netcode i assume).
but surely all this can be done by one server.

Inquisitor was planning on hosting a server through his company, but he hasn't set it up yet.
