Well, I have been listening to a lot of Bob Dylan music, and I was wondering what others think of him.
-
Quite a good songwriter, but I can't abide his voice.
Donovan Leitch is far less irritating. (Bloke responsible for Mellow Yellow for ye uneducated types)

"Everybody likes to get stoned..."
-
"Everybody must get stoned" is the correct title, I believe....
Petrarch: Yeah, his singing isn't worth much, but the lyrics make up for that big time. To me, it's a refreshing change from "I love you" in endless different versions.

I hear his name a lot, but I'm too young and too cool to listen to his stuff.

Nothing to see here, move along.

I've heard OF him, never heard him though...
And before anyone makes a crack at that too..I'm listening to vivaldi right now (the fact that I've got Slayer lined up next on the playlist means nothing...:D)

Great songwriter & good singer.

Great songwriter. His voice is only so-so...
On the other hand, in English class last year we studied his lyrics for our poetry unit because my teacher likes his stuff so much. Best unit ever. :D

My dad loves him, so I've been raised on him. I value him most for his songwriting, he really had some awesome expression in that collection. As to the music, I can appreciate it, but I don't like it. :p

Well, anything recent from him is pretty awfull. After he had that bike crash he found God. Now, no offence to religious people, but gospel, I don't like it........
-
He can't sing, and I'm seen him do a run up the piano, reach the end and keep going beyond the piano till he fell off the piano stall once ;)
That said, he was the (somewhat off-key) voice of a generation, and a great songwriter, though I've not heard much of his recent work.

Meh.
