I was screwing around and got my torpedoes to work with OMNISCAPER'S SCP trel stuff, so I did more experiementing and swapped his Peregrines and Klingon BOP into retail Trek (and they work!). Problem was I wanted to test his TREk phasers in FS@. I booted up fred and added Trashman's Scorpion (the only cap ship in Retail trek that is turreted). adn it just sits there. It won't defend itself, or atteck when ordered to. What can cause this type of dead ship situation?

Ship flag is cap
Also all turret values work in reatial with old weapons table, only text changed for new phasers and added his weapons table . Game loads with no conflicts

Have you checked the AI setting in FRED? It could have been inadvertantly set to 'none'.

I figured out one problem, for some reason the "cruiser" wont fire the Phasers (maybe needs the capital tag?)
I switched back to trashman's phasers amde for the retail scorpion and it fires , a little at first then stops.
BUt the ship itself will not move to track targets or folow orders (I didn't try depart) just attack me target, which they acknowledge..
gave up fro now as I suceeded with translating my torps into SCP Trek! woot! Gonna concentrate on Porting more torps...
Maybe Omni would be willing to do something with old Scorpy?
(As I don't want to distract Trashman from finishing SDF-1!)
