Should Americans be concerned that on March 23rd a bipartisan group of Congressmen attended a coronation at which a billionaire, pro-theocracy newspaper owner was declared to be the Messiah – with royal robes, a crown, the works? Or that this imperial ceremony took place not in a makeshift basement church or a backwoods campsite, but in a Senate office building?
There goes my faith in makind. I'm starting to think Thunder's 10 year prophecy might not be all that wrong.
pictures and a movie of the event can be found here:

Now, this March, Moon was telling guests at the Dirksen Senate Office Building that Hitler and Stalin, having cleaned up their acts, had, in a rare public statement from beyond the grave, called him "none other than humanity's Savior, Messiah, Returning Lord and True Parent."
And there was me thinking that Hitler & Stalin commonly made public statements from beyond the grave

I have family(well, they're my Uncle's wife's family) that are(were?) members of the Unification Church. It's nothing but a Cult centered around the ravings of Moon. And by "cult" I mean all the negative conotations that the word entails.
-
:wtf: ...you gotta be f***ing kidding me...
-
Yeah. a cult that has resources and influence to put their (his?) wacko plans into action. This guy is a billionare, and apprently has friends very, very high up, who are willing to promote his agenda. And its all payed for with tax dollars. Brilliant.
It'de be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

It's just one more nail in the coffin of freedom.

Doesn't surprise me. When someone declared they were Christ in the UK, he was put in an institution for several years, and then spent several episodes of 'Have I got News for You' being asked if his Glass of water tasted strangely alcoholic ;)
-
Strangely, I find myself compelled to agree with the local Republicans on this one:
This is nuts.

It's worse than nuts, it'd be nuts if no-one was taking it seriously, but obviously a lot of very powerful people ARE taking it seriously. That makes it bloody dangerous :(

And ignoring every mainline Christian denomination's rejection of the idea of Jewish collective guilt, Moon's latest world tour calls on rabbis to repent for betraying Christ, the Jerusalem Post reported last week. Speaking in Arlington, VA in 2003, Moon said Hitler killed six million Jews as a penalty for this rejection. And he's frank about calling for democracy and the U.S. Constitution to be replaced by religious government that he calls "Godism," calling the church-state separation the work of Satan. "The church and the state must become one as Cain and Abel," he said in the same sermon.
I just can't help but cringe when people prove Il Duce right. Especially if this is what is made of out of our democracy.
Canada is starting to look less cold more and more often these days...

It's great, the people we have running this wonderful land...
-
What worries me is the amount of religious agendas in the US at the moment. Especially with Equal and Opposite members in Islam (though, at least Mohammed was smart enough to cut off the 'I am the returned Mohammed!' option :))
-
No Surprise to me really, ive been reading up on this awhile. I always said US politics were screwed and proof is finally surfacing.
-
oh...my...god
I just watched the video. I was originally going to put up certain quotes in here, but as I watched the video there were just too many.
watch the video, its speaks volumes. The torrent download took me like 30 seconds, its super fast.
What a nutjob, I'm actually scared. His speech pattern and mennerism frighteningly reminds me of a certain German statesman.
Now is the time for global governance centred on God
Moon's crowning ceremony was attended by
81 US senators and members of congress, 26 ambassadors to the United States and some 450 leaders from various fields.
Like the Roman Empire 2000 years ago, America, A Christian nation, stood with a mission of realizing God's ideal, and spreading this ideal to the world.
Father and Mother Moon proclaimed the daawning of a new movement called the Family Federation for the ideal kingdom, through peaceful unification of Heaven and Earth. Senators and Congressmen and representatives of all the families joined in. Gods' fatherland is the ideal heavenly kingdom of cosmic peace and unity./ From the begginings of the universe on into eternity.
I'll post some more quotes later on, this is just half the video.

 *Points and laughs at this idiots knowledge of history*
2000 years ago NO ONE was a christian nation

Unless it were a nation of paedos, bent on worshipping the infant Jesus because he was particularly shapely.
-
The church and the state must become one as Cain and Abel," he said in the same sermon.
Ummm, he knows that Cain killed Abel, right? Genesis 4:8 (NIV) says, originally quoted by Genesis 4:8
"Now Cain said to his brother Abel, "Let's go out to the field." And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.
-
Yep, sounds like the best cure for the current Church and State situation to me ;)

Tony Blair's next tv address:
"Prime Minister what do you say to critics who remind us of your attendance of Catholic services with Cherie?"
"I was being forced to go, you know how it is, by Cherie, and as soon as I realised that state should kill religion, well... you know it was one of those decisions that had to be made, and I made it. We outlawed religion."
Jeremy Paxman (just there 'cos it's so important a day) "But what did your wife think of this?"
"Well she was unhappy at first but I'm sure she'll understand my decision in due time." (muffles screams from through the wall) "Er, I think John had a curry last night you see... " (big grin).

Too true. That and Rome fell...big time.
What was Thunders 10 year prophecy?
-
He gives humanity 10 years and then poof, we've had it.
-
If he's been getting ancient history AND the bible wrong then he can't be the Messiah can he? And wouldn't the Messiah be somewhere like the holy land or something, healing the sick, performing miracles or telling stories?
-
Not according to the Illuminati (s?) or the likes... but let's not go there...
-
If he were the Messiah, he wouldn't be a meglomaniacal middle-aged Korean loon. I would have thought that to be a dead giveaway.
All he has is money and influence. Lots of people have that. He also has delusions of grandeur, which is also not that uncommon. If he didn't have Senators and Congressmen as his groupies, he'd be in a soft padded room, or on the street corner, preaching his divine plan for world peace.
-
So what we need here is a padded room, some lubricant and a large grabbing device?
-
Oddly enough his plan does sound like exactly what the Anti-christ would do though :nervous: :shaking:
-
it's the US senators' involvement that really scares me. If he's got gov't officials from the most powerful country in the world on his side... well, we're in trouble.
-
You know stuff like this has most likely happened for decades, if not centuries. Just over the last decade or so we've advanced to the point where everyone has access to information about events from anywhere.
Sometimes I wonder if it's a case of 'lots of weird sh!t happening, or a case of we're just now noticing all the weird sh!t.
-
It could well be that we are just now turning a critical eye towards this sort of thing, and I think I would agree that power-hungry meglomaniacs, religious or otherwise, are nothing new.
If we have not only the capacity to discover such things, but also the will to stop them, then all the better. This is one of those things which I think people need to know about, and if you ask me its not getting nearly enough publicity, but the reason for that seems clear enough, to me at least.

Hey Everyone! Jesus built your Graphics Tabs! :D

LOL, i find this funny. It is actually real? I,ve not read about it on the BBC site...
-
That article makes me nervous, if it's true. Sounds like Virginia needs to check out how it's representatives represent themselves.
-
Havent read this whole thread, but: This is either in the bible, or bible code, or both. But it predicts the coming of a false prophet in the end of days
-
That guy's a paranoid nutjob.
-
Yeah, Alex Jones is...well lets just say that his views should be taken with a grain of salt.
I don't think he's a total nutcase, I think his conlusion have important elements of truth to them, but normal people might not be inclined to listen, given the conspiracy-theory-like stench which emantes from his work.
I'm particularly paranoid, so I'm more in agreement with him than I would imagine the average joe to be...

So that's where Stryke went...

you know, now that I think about it....

It's not code, it's the Book of the Revelation. The only book in the Bible I might add that openly threatens God's Wrath on anyone who alters it.
The False Messiah will come and he and his false prophets shall unite the world as has never been done before. All wars shall cease, Famine will be a thing of the past, basically what Humanity considers to be good things. The only caveat is you(meaning every single man, woman and child in the world) must worship him(the False Messiah) as God and take his mark, either on the hand or the head thus damning yourself to Hell forever by God's command, or else die. Most Biblical scholars agree that the murder will be some form of ritual decapitation. Then in the last days, at a place called Armageddon, the final battle of Mankind will be fought. The forces will be arrayed between those loyal to God and those loyal to the False Messiah, who will be revealed to be Satan. The blood from this battle will be as deep as a horses shoulder. At the end of the battle, the Lord Jesus Christ will return in glory astride a white horse and lead the Army of the Lord God against those that remain loyal to Satan and all Humanity will judged individually, each according to his or her actions in life which will be laid bare for all to see. Those that are innocent, those saved by Christ's sacrfice on the Cross, will be spared and all others will be cast into the Lake of Fire for 1000 years, which is also the length of Christ's reign on Earth. At the end of the 1000 years, those in the Lake of Fire will be banished to the abyss there to live apart from God, out of His presence, for all eternity. Simultaneously, Christ's followers on Earth will be taken into Heaven and there to live forever in the personal presence of God almighty.

Wasn't Jesus born a carpenter or something and lived modestly, not a billionaire newspaper owner. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Actually he probably would. Lets face it what kind of moron actually believes he's the anti-christ? The Bible says that he loses. Even if it didn't he's up against an all-knowing all powerful deity so it's pretty obvious he's going to lose this one.
Conclusion : The anti-christ would either be insane or very stupid.
Sounds like this guy fits both :D

Who was it that managed to set heaven ablaze or summat? Thats seems like proof God can be butt-****ed at the appropriate time.

Seriously. JC sooo had it commin' as soon as he started hanging out with that stoned hooker.

Well, you mouth off 'bout your Da long enough some one is bound to make something of it.

I don't think the Anti-Christ, who doesn't exist anyway, would know he was the Anti-Christ, it would have to be us who destroyed ourselves by believing what he believed. That would be far more 'satisfying' from a Satanic point of view.
But since I don't think he exists, it's a moot point ;)

Good point. That's about the only way the concept would really work. That does mean we need to look for someone who thinks he's actually a good christian though since from a satanic view point the best Anti-christ would be someone who actually thought he was doing God's work :D

Laughing at this man is not recommended, even though we know he is dumb, he doesnt know it yet and he is trying to spread his dubmness to the whole world.
Will he succeed? Stay tuned to as the world spins!

Actually, anti-christ is a bad translation. A more accurate transpation would be along the lines of a "Christ Replacement" - "Instead of Christ".
BTW, currently (and I stress that), it SEEMS that the whole mark of the beast thing, with no one being able to buy or sell unless they have the mark, etc etc... it all seems to speak of an economic power. And what with all these new ideas for smart credit cards implanted under the skin, it may very well be.
Then again, it may not be.
-
Some people would like to talk about the things in the bible as if they are true and happening now.
Anti-Christ could be anyone, could even be Jesus. He did help start the worst religions in the world and biggest (christianity).
We could deny this moon guy that he is the Messiah, however we dont know if its true or not cause we are not God and we did not write these events out.
We can guess at who is the bad guys and good guys but we are never certain as their is never any facts to point to these being true.
This is why you must keep an open mind. Moon may just be the door to the messiah, he may claim to be it however if their is someone else he will show his power to moon and moon will quickly bow down to this person.
I dont beleive Moon is the messiah, i think he beleives he is but i beleive he will be found to be mistaken and soon we will see who really is the messiah they speak of.
Creidt Cards under the skin is already in testing and will be a viable solution for widespread useage in about 5 years. The chips are implanted into your hand or arm, and used to scan like debit cards.
Money will be abolished, and credit will be the only way to have money which will in turn end most drug dealing and any money laundering.
All these things will happen as they are almost ready for release, and these things i just spoke of were already predicted in the bible. We are in the end times, but they could last 100 years so hopefully no oen gets to anxious over this. Some interesting things are unfolding, things ive already read about 7 years ago and now they are coming true.
This is the most astounding and weird thing ive ever had happen to me in my life. Seeing that video, reading the articles i read all point to the bible coming true. Its like something out of a movie....

Not quite, erm...
There are areas in the Bible that hold great interest to me, for example, the Egyptian plagues, since most of those can be proved to have happened in some point in Egypt history, including the 'River of Blood', which may well have been caused by Red silt being washed downriver by heavy rains. Some people like to think this disproves the Bible, personally, I think it helps authenticate it's writing period and the contents of it. Not in a spiritual sense, but in a historical one.
As far as the spiritual side of it is concerned, it's difficult to say, I don't consider myself to be of any particular faith, and if the 'false' christ is really a human who is completely unaware of his actions, how does that make anything different to the way things have always been?
I don't consider the Apocolypse a prophecy of what must happen, I think it was someone who knew human nature extremely well trying to give, in the limited explanations available 4000 years ago what would happen if mankind did keep doing things the way they always have. Theres a lot of spiritualism involved, but theres a reason for that imho....
In your life, what has influenced you more? Cold, detached books about population trends and gross national productivity, or good old blood and thunder space-combat, fantasy combat, Special-ops books etc? I can't speak for everyone, but from my own point, I'd say I read far more of the latter than the former, and because I enjoy them, they stick in my mind :)
I suppose it is in our own hands, if we were offered an option of the entire world without hunger or suffering, all we had to do was kill 100,000 people out of several billion in the world, is that considered a 'good' thing or a 'bad' thing. There is what I would truly define as a test of faith, because the Faith itself would most certainly say that such an action would be a 'sin' by definition, but could we resist the temptation. If we do not, we are less than the 'human' that we would need to be to aspire to become as one with 'God' (the perfect existence).
So while I don't actually believe in the physcial entity of 'God', I believe many holy books have somehow managed to cause the very thing they were trying to warn us against.
Deep huh? ;)

I've always felt organized religion has nothing to do with God and everything to do with man.
