Hey guys.... long time no type. Been busy with my grandmother in the hospital, work, and everything in between. I used to be able to come on during work, but they passed a new regulation here where they monitor your internet access and will report you if you are misusing it. I'm sneaking in now :nervous: but I shouldn't.
Anyway, a month ago I got my girlfriend to lend me her scanner and wanted to share some really old drawings of mine. I used to draw since I was little, but it was only a hobby... Kind of like your gi joe's and he-mans. Once I grew up, drawing quickly became boring, just like when you pick up your gi joe's after maturing and not really feeling that imaginative spark to play with them.
I'm not the best artist, so it's ok to criticize. I did this drawing 10 years ago in college, and it was just a doodle of a few minutes (probably between classes). I come from the structured side of drawing, where you do the spine of the object and then flesh it out from there.
Anyway, here is my first drawing. I'll post it, then let you guys rape it, and then later I'll post another one.
This is lizard-head. No name for it. Just wanted to see if I could do a non-human head. The paper is really old (10 years sitting under books) and I'm not the most efficient in scanning and stuff, so it lost a lot of detail, but whatever.

You'll find faint lines or what looks like other arms on the guy on the left, but that's because I hadn't decided on where I was going to place his arms and never got around to fixing it.

Thanks, here's another one. She originally was in a coffee cup but a friend complained and said that the idea was stupid. There was a huge thought process on why it was a coffee cup (somethign to do with caffeine addiction and it's similarities with affection for a girl) but whatever.

I never really finished her, as there were things that I wanted to work on a little more (like her breasts) but again I never got around to it. Was always a problem of mine; I would do a drawing but would never finalize it.

I have one I did last year that was done while high and drunk, cuz me and my girl were talking about my drawings and how I haven't picked up a pencil to draw in years. She wanted me to do one of her right then and there and to be honest I didn't put that much of an effort into it.
I would have to find it and scan it, lol.
Topace: I don't know what a Bothan is :( Is that good or bad?
I was never the type to trace or look at something and draw it. Everything I drew was from my head, with nothing infront of me to use as a guide. So whatever came out of my fingers and onto the paper was always something that kind of grew as I drew it.
