It's a strange one.
Ships will up and dissapear. You can still target them, but you get something like this:

The targeting brackets do not move from that spot no matter the orientation.
If I try to view from target I see this:

I can pan and switch the cameras all I want, there is no visible change.
Using fs2_open_C06152004.exe -spec -glow -jpgtga -d3dmipmap -2d_poof -fps
It happened in the second mission of the FSPort main campaign, and the TBP mission "Liberation of Anaria" (or some spelling similar to that). Team doesnt seem to matter either, as both a wingmate and that Anubis dissapeared at the same instant.

I've had that problem as well, on a Derelict mission. Meant to post screenshots but never got around to it.
I'm thinking this may be related to the memory leak, which may be related to the Windows Is Low On Virtual Memory I sometimes get when a bunch of ships warp in.

Yeah, thats not an issue with me. Gig of ram and 1.5 of VM.

happened to me in an Inferno mission

Does this happen with another build?
Also, using the -stats argument would help.

This is the first time it's happened to me. I'll try going back to 3.5 for a bit, see if I run into it again.
