Title: Rotating UVmaps in TS5.1
Post by: Lynx on July 10, 2004, 09:31:07 am
How do I make the icons for rotating UVmaps visible? I have the impression that they show up only randomly, and never when needed.

in 4.2 i used a pluggin called uv tweak, you could scale, rotate and translate the uv map. it was a very uefull tool. i used it alot to merge multiple textures into one bitmap and some other cool stuff like that. now that ive been using truespace 6' uv editor i find uv mapping far less time consuming.

While on the topic of Truespace, where abouts is the Triangulation button in Truespace 6? Or do I have to get a plugin for it?

Also.. im not sure if im doing something wrong here (probably), but when trying to make thrusters now in TS6 the thruster mesh outline gets bigger when glued with the light and because of that i have to move the light right back into the model for it to work and then it just looks crap seeing a thruster plume in the middle of a ship :P
