Meh. It has its moments, but it's not that great. Cool effects though.

It's probably the worst B5 has to offer. That's still streets ahead of Voyager though :D

G'Kar's in it though which should be reason enough to watch :)

Legend of the Rangers was a crappy movie.

Nuke, there's a new B5 movie in the works which is rumoured to be a pilot movie to a new series as well. "The Memory of Shadows."
In other words, there will be another movie but not so sure about a new series.

Well, it won't damage your braincells, at least.

It's ****, IMO.  Cheap & nasty looking, too.

It soils the good name of B5 but isn't as bad as the Crusade series.

Prefered Crusade to LotR by a long way. Maybe it's because Crusade had more time so you could see that it was going somewhere interesting :)

Yeah, Crusade was getting interesting. Too bad it was canned but that's better than seeing Crusade being raped by producers.

Well, to each his/her own I guess... :p I just think that Crusade is on the same level as Voyager. It pillaged and raped the series it represents. :ick:

Crusade was screwed over by the network execs who don't know the first thing about good sci-fi.  Some episodes really shone out and it was picking up much quicker than Babylon 5 did in its first season.

Legend of the Rangers I consider to be sort of like The Gathering...its a pilot which experiments.  Had it gone to series, I figure it would have been much better.  I liked the setup...I didn't like all that they did and I didn't like what they did with the CGI...but it was promising.

I don't think Crusade was given a chance really. JMS was still setting up the board when he was suddenly told no one was playing so of course the game doesn't look like much fun.

If you look at season 1 of Babylon 5 there were some absolute stinkers in there. TKO was pretty poor and Infection was so bad that since it was the first episode of B5 I saw it put me off the show for 2 whole years.

Given a chance I don't doubt that Crusade would have improved as much as B5 did. JMS has already stated that the plague would have been cured by the end of season 3 which does make you wonder what the last two seasons would have been about.

Cleaning up the mess.  JMS apparently said that the cure would be found...but there would be a price.  I always like how JMS did that...nothing comes without some sort of sacrifice.

I watched LOTR, and frankly, it was not up the standard of the main stream series.  The way the main cast were set up, it definitely was trying to be a pilot for a new series, but so many things were... wrong.  They totally messed up hyperspace, for gods sake:ick:

The only bright point was G'Kar.

Well I wished they had continued on with Crusade as the unproduced scripts pointed toward EA black projects, involving shadow technologies, we would've seen more shadow enhanced thundebolts, warlocks and that hybrid.

Setekh, you need to order B5 Seasons 1-5 on DVD's. :)
Don't forget "In the Beginning" movie either. :)

"The Gathering" is on DVD as well but is kinda sucks since it's the pilot movie, a lot was changed between the pilot movie and actual series... for the better thank god...

Saw a little bit of it, but as Windrunner I also fell asleep after about 40 minutes. And I'm glad I did, it seemed like a really cheesy movie. Where did they find the actors? :)

yeah, US series cost a lot. On the other end, animes cost much less, and since I prefer animes, I don't care much :p

It's just for live series, really. And I never searched for the best prices, to be honest, it's FNAC prices ( FNAC, it's a big multimedia store chain ).
