5 years in prison? I would have thought that having your balls blown off would be punishment enough. I would think this qualifies as a case of extenuating circumstances to be sure.

He walked home after an arguement and then returned to the pub with a shotgun down his pants. He should consider himself lucky to have only gotten 5 years considering how obvious it is what he intended to do with that gun.
