I was just wondering what if I took some shots from the first 5 missions and post them at HLP.

My god the Support ship looks ugly in that pic. Did someone enhance this one's textures? If not, that screeny'll likely work as a pretty strong argument in favour of doing just that.
Other than tha, everything looks cool, though I suggest you make use of the texture changing thingo and put a GTD Achilles nameplate on that Orion of yours - we have the technology, might as well use it.

I was planning on doing it, but I still did not have mood to Photoshop it. And! I tried using the Texture replacement option in one of the RR missions(as a test), and as far as I can remember(and I am certain I can) the mission crashed.
I should read what the Wiki says about it.

I had problems with the texture replacement at first too - try setting it to "duplicate model" - sorted me out well enough.

Remind me to take another look at the texture replacement system. The ordinary way should work, but I've heard from a bunch of people now who've had it crash on them.

Err, does it really matter all that much? I admit to not knowing the specifics of how the system works, but as long as it does work, does it really matter which one you use? Couldn't you just change the default to DM, or is that a performance hit or summat?

The "duplicate model" system duplicates the entire model for the particular ship, texture and all, while the "regular" system just substitutes the new texture when it's needed. The latter system should take less memory in the majority of situations.

Any idea on a release date?

I still do not know an exact release date. I do not announce a Release date unless all missions are done and I am in the final testing phase.
Currently, 5 of 10 missions are 98% done. and mission 6 needs both Command and mission brieifngs.
However, the plot is complete, I will only have to FRED it. I am saying this because at start, I still did not know how the campaign's story will end. Now, after spending an entire hour making the final plot, I have a cleared view.
Momentarly, I only dare say you will get it by the end of the summer. It is another pasta I said the same in the case of RR, but I am a more experienced Project leader not to trust voice actors again.
