This was quite... not planned. My father offered this for me and after some thinking and testing I decided to buy it.
-90 Mazda 323 1.3l

Two more pics: 1 (http://personal.inet.fi/koti/rmalinen/gortef/masta2.jpg) 2 (http://personal.inet.fi/koti/rmalinen/gortef/masta3.jpg)
1800 €
It's a nice small car, feels good to drive and is in quite good condition ^^
-
Meh..
Hatchbacks :p
-
Not bad that it is a hatchback, but the kind of hatchback... Eeew. :p
But then again... I have an integra with a 3 color front end... and someone hit it in the parking lot at work on Saturday...
I need ~ 1500 more dollars to get my front end fix0red... do atleast your car is in one color, piece, what have you.
Good luck... is what I'm trying to say. :)
-
Paint it black and put some miniguns and rocket launchers on it also a mine dropper on the back with spiked bumbers.......
-
I don't know, it looks quite nice - hell of a lot better than my Fiesta. For just over a grand in Pounds Sterling, I'd have it :)
-
point is, that thing will barely even sip on gas.
i'd have taken it too if i was in your shoes :)
good buy :D

I drive a 323 myself (although I've got a 323f). Mines white and sadly came without the spoiler or leggy blond attachments :)

Another pic (http://swooh.com/peon/karajorma/Misc-Pics/m323c.jpg)
I've not driven the model you've got but since it's probably not that different from mine it's bound to be one hell of a nice car to drive :)
As for the hatchback complaints. I wouldn't swap it for a sedan any day.
-
@Gortef: Nice enough, but WTF is with that spoiler?
As for the blonde... meh...:blah:
-
Don't ask me about the spoilers, those were there when I bought it :p
I'm planning to paint the spoilers black... gonna test it in photoshop first though (among other things :D)
Nice 323 aswell karajorma ^^
-
Congrats.
Seems pretty old. What's the mileage/km-age whatever?
-
Question, who likes the Fiat Punto, or the Mitsubishi Colt?
-
JR200Z: about 217000 km ^^

Thats... a lot of km for €1800. But it should last for a while. Though i highly doubt you'll driving this thing for years.
We (TCO and I) currently have a BMW 316 EXE :)
-
Bah. I hate the 3 series. I like the new M5s....
-
hehehe... nice last pic with the blond!

Huh, indeed. Bought my car for €750, it had 26000 km then.
Yet one has to remember that certain goods simply cost more money in northern Europe. Don't know if that's true for cars as well, but has someone ever dared to buy a bottle of whisky in Denmark? :nervous:
Though that's not entirely on-topic. :D
-
Nice pimping Kara. You get points for leather.
-
How many MPG or km/l?
-
How deep is your wallet? ;)

The funny thing is I was only looking for a pic of the car but when I did a google image search for mazda 323f they popped up first. I posted them cause I was too lazy to scroll down. Honest :D

I like the new M5 series as well but I don't have the $85000 to buy it. :p

ha!i bet the evo beats that one with accelleration and probaly speed. The new evo7 sure will.
Only minus point is these kind of cars dring gas like darkage drinks b33r:lol:

Alright alright....
-
btw, you don't by a DB9 for speed alone, you buy it for class.
The SLR on the other hand, is bloody awesome in all respects.
-
Nice car.. :)
I'am going for new car soon (my lexus engine is almost busted and fixing would cost too much)
but still thinking what, it's hard choose most likely Peugeot 607
-
OK OK:rolleyes: that 1 owns the evo :) but the coolest car imo is a hummer:D
-
[q]but the coolest car imo is a hummer[/q]
That hardly even qualifies as a 4x4 off-roader let alone a car...;)

Indeed cars are expencive in Finland. Prettymuch everyone in here thinks that 1800€ is a good buy for that one :p

If you hadn't said it - I was going to. Who cares about some boy racer car when you can own something as stylish as an Aston Martin.
Oh, and down the route of nice cars... a Bently for you.
-
Thats awesome Raa. I wanna get one just like it.
No seriously, I do. Just like back in the old country.
-
Oh laugh all you want, but this little tank stood up to a Dodge Ram 4x4. He hit me at ~35-40 MPH as well... All in all, my little 'teggy is a good car. :p
And that Bentley is looking good up until the nose. The rest is sleek and sexy, the nose is ass ugly. :ick:
-
Who here besides me is stuck with a suburban. Ive nicknamed my suburban "the tank" because its been in 3 wrecks and in all cases demolished the other car. No injuries thank god. I think the only thing more armored that a Suburban is a Hummer prolly. They both weigh in at about 2.5 tons with a full tank of gas I think.
-
Yeah, the nose of that Bentley looks like it took some tips from the new Cadicalac. Too tank-like.
My theory is, a new car is just gonna ended up old and busted anyway, so why not stay ahead of the game my buying an old and busted car from the start. Besides, no $450 windshield wipers to replace
:D:D
-
The Bently needs a different light cluster - I hate the little pop-eyed lights that are getting put on cars these days. I love the rest of it though.
As for my car...
Although mine is blue. Meh, it's not a bad first car.

My car had it first! :p
Anyway, since someone hit it in the parking lot at work on Saturday (The other 'good' fender not shown in that pic) I'm gonna shell out the cash and get my front end 'upgraded'
I think it'll look hot. But I'll have to park it 2 blocks away to protect it from those *censored for the children* NY drivers... :doubt:
-
I want a Jetta.... :p

the H2 weighs over 4 tons. the H1 is more.

[q]Oh, and down the route of nice cars... a Bently for you. [/q]
What in the name of all that is octane fuelled... that is stunning.
EDIT: It's a BENTLY - who in thier right mind said the steering column for the show car should be on the left? :blah:
(Alright, could do with making the grill a bit less fast n' furious looking.)
[q]As for my car...[/q]
Ah but the question is, is yours are well polished as that one? ;)
This reminds me of the first time my Dad made me T-Cut the car... *arms go weak*
-
Gortef, maybe you should take a trip to Middle Europe to buy a car next time. I had a look at a popular german internet car sales platform, and cars like yours are sold for far less than 1000€. With those cheap flights these days, it might pay off. ;)
Though I don't know from which forest from the farthest end of Finland you come. :D
On topic : this SLR thing looks verrrrry cool. Haven't seen it before, although it's a german car. Mhmm, makes me think I should read some more car magazines, which means I'd have to spend more time in the waiting room at my doctor's. Ah, no.
Eh, finally on topic : I like the new A class.

The SLR is a joint project with McLaren, and there are details on the Mercedes website. :)
Now, to find an affordable car for me... with five doors...and a 1.6 or greater engine.... cheap... hmm...
-
vyper : new or used?

You guys have no idea of a good vehicle.

Fear the white vans. For all you know, there could be someone living in the back of that thing. Or a bomb. Or somesuch.

Heh I know, but I decided to go with the easy way :p
Getting a car from the middle europe needs a bit more planning.
And right now I don't live that far in the forest, Tampere is quite a large city ^^

my '92 Polo Coupe' (1.3/55bp!) started smokin' from the near side wheel arch last weekend. Impressed I was not.
and I got shunted by a Taxi 'couple of weeks ago. My car used to look quite tidy for it's age, now I've got a dent in the bloody hatch.
-
damn... >_>
