Title: missiles

i'm having what i think is an issue with fs2o.  no matter what i do, i can't get the weapon selection screen to give me missiles.  they won;t show up in any of the missions.  even the training modules that are supposed to train me on missiles won;t allow them in game.  when i reloaded fs2 retail, the missiles were there.  but not in open.  have they been deliberately taken out, or is this s bug?

Try creating a new pilot.

This bug is known, and a fix is in the works.

so a new pilot *might* fix it?  i hope so.  i have had some...difficulty...chasing down enemy ships with no missiles.  maybe i should play it on something less than the highest difficulty too.

It should fix it, if not you can try using CSGEdit to add allowed missiles to your pilot file. (http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~freespace/fsdoc/index.php/UsingCsgEdit), check the "Resources" page on the main HLP site for a download link.
