Whenever I try to start FS open I get the following message:
I am running the 07202004 build with these flags activated:
C:\Games\Freespace 2\fs2_open_C07202004.exe -spec -glow -pcx32 -jpgtga -d3dmipmap -phreak -ship_choice_3d -nomotiondebris -2d_poof -d3d_no_vsync -fps -fov 0.75 -ambient_factor 79 -allslev -nomotiondebris -htl -mod The_Babylon_Project
-
Why are you using the -htl command line?
And you've got -nomotiondebris in there twice.
-
That doesnt fix my problem...
-
Actually, you shouldn't use -htl is already enabled in that build.
And try without -d3d_no_vsync. If I recall correctly, there was a bug introduced there recently.
-
I dont think it has anything to do with flags... IT still does not work.
-
Does it work without the "-mod" ?
-
I think it has to do with mod stacking. I returned all the files to the original Freespace 2 directory and it worked. Now all someone needs to do is correct the error that causes the complete system reboot. (see Flipsides problem)
