First off, there didnt actually seem to be any 'singing' involved here, except near the end, just a minute or so of Shatner talking to himself while music is playing.
Secondly, it was some of the worst music I've ever heard.

You all realize that Shatner released an album of his "singing" in the mid-70s(IIRC).  And that his particular "talent" is an affectation the style of poetic performance in what would be called Goth Bars today.
