They'd be bankrupt
-
Nah, they'd sue the crap out of anyone who actually FOUND bugs for 'exploiting software vulnerabilities'. :p
-
It's not a security vulnerability....it's,er, a 'leveraged distributed access feature'
:nervous:

aldo: That your text, or an old joke?
Actually, I thought today's most interestings reg articles were IBM's mighty morfin procesorrs, and the headset screen +PDA+mic+laptop in backpack mobile computing idea. That last one was pure genius, too.

Er...mine, sort of. Long running excuse at uni - it's not broke, it's a feature!
i.e. it doesn't crash every 10 seconds, it has a 'time critical working environment to stimulate productivity'
Or.... it doesn't hog memory, it 'maximises resource usage potential'
Or... it doesn't throw error messages every time you click on a button, it has 'dynamic response mechanisms'
etc.
Strangely, every one always cropped up in a discussion related to Windows.........

Wait wait, slow down, I have to write these down... :p

The lack of a copy and paste tool isn't a bug... it's a feature aimed at improving typing skills...
-
You have no idea how often I'll need those when I start writing C.....
-
Down with IE.
-
It doesn't corrupt every file it saves.... it "creates dynamic work situations"
-
That's no bubblegum in the printer port, it's a dynamicly formed heat sensitive port protector!
-
The screen doesn't break and switch off, it "moves into energy conservation mode".
-
These are going into a nice little list for the school's sysops.
The new system didn't bork the media players, it is a productivity upgrade patch!
-
The computers not horribly slow, it's "allocating user thinking time"
-
That's not a piece of a floppy stuck in the drive, it's a virus contamination protector!
It did work as one, last time I SysOpped that net caf. Twas a bloody ***** to get out with as only tools some plastic eating utensils though.

Thats not a virus, its a 'System protection testing device'.
