I'm trying to play Renegade Ressurgence, and the Somtus cruiser won't appear, so I'm guessing that the other new ships won't appear either. (The cruiser was in Worth of a Vasudan, and it arrived as a Ulysses). I downloaded the MODs on the website and am using the retail version of FS2. It would be appreciated if I could get some help.
Also, I'm interested in playing Casualties of War, but I can't figure out where to put the RAR file. Some help, please.

Sounds like the tables (ship.tbl) are dodgy - if the game can't find a model, it substitutes the default for it - which is the Ulysses.

Extract (unzip) the RAR to get a VP file - place this in the FS2 directory (same as where the other VPfiles are).  MAke sure you have no tbls or models in the data (etc) directories, because these will override any data in the VP.

VPs are accessed alphabetically, so you'll need to delete / rename the CoW VPs when you're finished, if you want to play the FS2 main campaign.

I think there should be a readme in the RAR file.

Edit; http://www.powerarchiver.com/ has a good program that will allow you to extract RAR archives.

Problem solved, I didn't have the VP file first in the queue. Thanks for your help with CoW, Aldo.

In the level with all the ships approaching the Ovigdod the station never shoots her beam, so i just sat there for like 20 mins n did jacck ****, i think i almost cried, what gives?
