Title: I was screwing around....(fs2 license - if i read it right, DS can't do crap with it)

The thing that Kulas says about "we have the option to do it first".

True, but I'd expect this to remain more or less the same - after all, you were here the entire time, did you hear anything changed?

So you don't think that the "first developing rights" would stick in any way after the licence (which was apparently unchanged in terms of use I'd assume) was sold?

I'd assume Volition has some say in that.

Sadly, I disagree. I don't think V is anymore in a position to have say in that kind of issue. Apart from the whole Interplay going down and V being completely owned by THQ, as pointed out, that was a long time ago. I doubt it sticks.

Well that was before THQ did buy Volition so things have changed
