Hello,
I have just two short questions :
1) I want to use "flash hud gauge" for the power-management-console,
but I cannot find the correct operator in the list of hud-entries.
Could it be, that it isn't in the list ?
2) What's the maximum size of the mission-area ? I guess it's cubic, but
I need to know the size for better mission-planing.
Thanks.

1) It's a training SEXP so you won't find it with the other HUD controls. :D
2) 30,000m on axis direction from origin IIRC (either that or 60,000 but I think it's the former)
-
I'm pretty sure it's 60k in retail, though it's been bumped in FSO.
-
Has it?
*Opens mission, moves model in the background further away*
-
Uh, well, I don't think there's any limit to model placement... c.f. the 150km Knossos in Into the Dragon's Den. The limit applies to how far the player can fly.
-
the limits in fs1 were 70,000, and i am sure that they were the same in fs2....but if i remember correctly, the first scp build removed that limit, can't remember if a new one is in place or not.
-
I thought the limit was 600,000 m from the center.
-
It is definitly bigger than 30.000, because I already have missions
with navpoints 50.000 to the left and 50.000 to the right.
I guess I have to try it out.
Darn thing with that power-management, I was hoping to use
it in the training mission. Oh well, we can't get everything we want :)
Thanks for the info guys.

Hmmm. I think I may have misunderstood your question. I thought you were saying you couldn't find the SEXP amongst all the entries in Change>HUD so I said the reason was cause it lives with the training SEXPs not the change ones.
Now it seems like you know that it's one of the Training SEXPs but couldn't figure out which of the options it actually is.
If that's the case simply pick "ETS settings" from the list.

That was my question :)
ETS hm ? Strange, could have sworn I already tried it. But now
after thinking about it, it is finally logic to me (Energy Transfer System). I will try it out right now.
Thanks again :)

The player can fly as far as he wants as long as s/he is Invulnerable
