The man was a ****ing genius.

Actually, I've noticed a lot of players retiring recently, or at least moving to the likes of Qatar - Overmars, the de Boers, Batistuta, Guardiola, Rivaldo, etc.

 It's kind of sad, because those are the players i grew up watching on the telly.... the players you watch when you're 10-16 are always the ones you remember as being the best.

Being a Spanish born, US citizen and a soccer lover, I must say this stinks, he couldnt wait til after the olympics, 34 is pretty young too. Whos next Ronaldo or Zidane? That would definently be a sad day

I was really depressed when I saw Baggio had to go. Bah...

Yeah, the ones you see in your 10-16 period, are the ones that you consider the best.
