To make the best weapon possible without MODding all you have to do is change a turret to BFRed, then go to the Events Editor and make a SEXP sayin FireBeam, then selecting the target,
Then make the repeat count 99999999.
Try it on a Volition Bravos with multiple beam cannons, see how tough that ship really is, I got it to 90%!
Just make the following SEXP
Kill Volition Bravos
----Fire Beam
-----------SJ Sathanas Repeat Count 99999999
-----------Turret 01
-----------Volition Bravos Interval time 1
Then watch it BURN

Pretty bored werent ya?

You can also do it with your fighter.

No! I'll be using that weapon inmy new campaign, which involves Mass Slaughter of Vasudan, by the Way where do your screenshots go and how do you take them?
-
"print screen" (next to F12) just press it ingame
they appear in the main FS2 directory
-
Hmmmm I tried that but it doesn't seem to work
-
I already knew about this. It is a bug, I believe. The fire-beam shouldn't fire until the beam is recharged.
-
Yeah but you can do that by adding more time to the delay.
And anyway its FUN!!!
-
I didn't say it wasn't fun. You can even have an Aten to beat an Orion if you are talented enough.
-
you can have an elysium beat a Colossus, just give it a BFRed and do the fire-beam thing! It'll take about a minute!
EDIT: But I have a feeling you didn't mean that
-
Your feelings serve you well. The Colossus should fire back. :)
-
ROFL! Aye, they do, those big furry oafs!
... :nervous: *Run away!*
-
Not if you don't do Beam-free-all :p
EDIT: Thank God for the quote button!
-
What 'bout them turrets, then? :p
(Ha! I got the smiley working! :p :p :p )

Yes, it won't return fire if you turn it off(or do not activate :D). But if you were the captain of the Colossus you would order your gunnery control to return fire. You wouldn't let a piece of box take down your space-faring fortress.

Plus if an Elysium fired a BFRED it'd probably melt from the exertion.
-
The probability of that case to happen is high.

Very sneaky, completely off topic but do you support CELTIC or RANGERS?
