Okay. I have the following.
AMD Athlon 1600+ 1.4gig
384DDR
120gig HD
RIVA TNT2 - series 64, 32mb[/u]
Now, I run the SCP, but with everything off, and on very high even. Runs great (and by great, I mean some real low FPS, but it DOES work) :p
Now, I'm getting a 9600xt within the next month, and this will pretty much become void when I get it, but I thought as long as I still have this atrocity of the card, I might as well play around with it.
I assume almost nobody in the community has something as old as this, so that's why I wanted to ask the following:
Do you guys know which of the SCP options can I run on this? Now, if you don't, no harm done, I'll be playing around tommorow anyway with it, but I wanted to know if SCP has indeed been tested on something as old as this? Or was there a point reached, when you said "okay, if anyone has a card lower than *insert name of the lowest card*, they shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the game with SCP?
:p Just wanna know.

You'd be surprised how many people here still have TNT2s. I don't have one myself, though I can tell you from experience, that a 9600XT runs FSO fine and smooth. Remember, that you shouldn't use any drivers newer than version 4.4. If you're playing under Win9x/ME, you'll have to use the 4.3 (unless one of you has the 4.4s for said opperating systems sitting on their HDDs).
Good luck with your purchase.

Well I'll be testing FSO today with the card. See in which ways I can torture it :D

I've got that one too:p

...and SCP runs on it!

Oh dear GOD!
How do you live with yourselves? I nearly slash my wrists every day. I would if I didn't have a 120gig HD that takes my time in me trying to fill it with porn (40gig remaining, I'm winning).
Anyway - I tried running everything. That was fun. It was REALLY pretty I must admit, but the fact that I was getting 1-7 FPS (nothing above) was kind of distubing, considering I'd press the buttons, and the action would respond until a second or two after.
Enter the RAM glitch (I have 384 - when I checked the usage, it was 1.18gig or something O.o) and the thing locks up - surprise O.o

get a gig of RAM

My Computer have a GeForce 4 Ti 4200. Only with this Memory Leak FS2 SCP have low FPS.
