From a mission in chapter 1 where the EA attack your carrier (played on medium, it'd be a lot easier on easy!) Enjoy. :D

Very nice machinegun/vulcan, it's remind me a WWII fighter combat. ( there is a moment when few fighters attack one enemy, great crossfire).
Maybe you can add a capship version of vulcan??

EDIT: Does vulcan ammo can be rearm by support ship??

The Unreal II music works really well for freespace, too.

Edit: What weapon made those bright green flashes?

It's the Inferno Release 1 or the Release 2 ?? Or the patch for the release 1 ??

Nope Sid uses a very old version of R2 but with updated weapons since that's what he's been working on recently.

That modpack lacks most of the recent model updates, the head anis and a few other things.

That's why I'm preparing a new build to bring everything up to date, and it should hopefully, be one of the last major staff modpack changes that we'll ever need.

Actually out of the remaining staff members, only I have a copy of the R1 patch since it has nothing to do with the others :)
I didn't internally release it since we are focusing on the new version of the mods and campaign.

It's the combat music from the Hell level of Unreal 2 (Jeremy Soule who's a music god) IIRC. Took me ages to convert the damn thing to Freespace format without bits getting mysteriously missed out or long pauses occurring between tracks!

Phreak's orb radar is a SCP thing, we don't use it though I suspect you'll be able to turn it on if you want to when we finalize the INF build.

The green stuff is the result of Vasudan spacial charges. Just like normal flak but prettier and a fair bit more deadly. :D

Whatever is in the CVS when I decide to compile a build is what is avaliable. We won't be using everything though.

Can you post about inferno sentry guns/sentry beams/defense instalation?? It's only ship group that we know nothing about.

Well we have the Balmung RBC, the Baucis and Aedon as standard Terran ones, the Gungir for the EA, and the Nepit for the Vasudans. Shivans get nothing :D
We don't have anything that would be classed as a defense station.

There's not much there apart from our Balmung RBCs that can rotate to engage targets at any angle. The rest we'll leave as a small surprise.

The Titan is gone and the Laycaon is an outpost, not a defense station.

We used the Titan as an all in one sentry at the time as we didn't have other guns. Now that we do, the other guns are used as they are more specialised.

Nice. Inferno is looking really good...I'm looking forward to it almost as much as TVWP.
