well, i've been learning a little html as of late, and i've gone and applied what i've learned to giving my website code a complete overhaul.. and well.. see the results for yourself.
(if you want to know what's been tweaked, look at the source code)
The Original Website (http://foxfire.keenspace.com/)
&
The Tweaked Code (http://users.bigpond.net.au/turnsky/indexassignment.html)

[color=66ff00]The only thing I've never liked about the site is the fact that the forward/back buttons are at the top of the strip, people tend to scroll down then hit next instead of scroll down then scroll back up and hit next.
Perhaps I'm just being lazy though. ;)
Anyhow your site layout is quite good otherwise and the graphics, it need not be said are excellent.

i've been contemplating moving those buttons, actually, down near the bottom?.. below the comic, or above the LJ/blog (there's a copyright image in between, y'see)

[color=66ff00]Most of the other comic sites I venture into either have them at the bottom or have them at the top and bottom. Since it's the same image the bandwidth requirement is the same as is the page loading time.
Everyone wins. :)

there, and as you can see, the nav buttons have been shifted to the bottom of the comic, and furthermore, it works in IE, Firefox, and Netscape..
if it causes problems in other browsers, please tell me :D

Ahhh, much better. Man, I'd forgotten how high the quality of Foxfire was... that stuff's awesome. :)

thanks.
now, if i can actually get out of my cycle of procrastination, i might be able to bother messing around with keenspace's quirks, and update the site's coding.:p

i've gone and uploaded the new indextemplate, now all i've gotta do is dumb that piece of code down for the dailytemplate.
