just get good textures for it or it will look too blocky.

Looks really nice.  You may want to bulk up his chest a bit as he's kind of out of proportion.  The legs especially look really good, but you may want to not smooth the armor on the arms, at least no so much(unless it's not armor but just tech)

I like the idea you have there, but the smothing... whatever program you're using, it looks... odd... Looks like lots of pinching and creases all over it...

Yeah, not bad at all. Proportioned very well. Do you texture?

Looking good.
Chest looks a bit bare, but that could be fixed with textures.
The back however looks a little odd, as if its missing something...

keep up the good work! :D

Thank you very much for all the kind comments all :) I haven't worked on the smoothing groups at all yet, unfortunately. :)

Sandwich, unfortunately I don't know how to texture :( But if anyone would like to, I could UV map it and give it to you :)

EDIT: Update, added feet:

Looks very good. Better than anything I can pump out.

Hmmmmmmmmm.. it's bloody good, but the chest needs tapering a tiny bit more, so that it's wider at the top, and his waist needs widening slightly in my opinion.

Mind if I ask what its for?
Any particular game or is it just for fun or a movie or something?

It's for some guy's Doom 3 mod.

Anyway, I updated the model, resized some parts, and snapped a lot of the polies together. Overall the waist looks much cleaner.

lol @ Setekh, sorry 'Sandwich'.
What were you doing when you were typing that UT?

'Someguys'?
I've got Doom3, and have been surprised at how hard it has been to find Doom3 Mod sites etc. Have you got any links to decent sites?

For Doom3, wouldn't you need a super higher res model for the lightmaps or something?
I've only had a glance at how it works but I think there is a bit more involved for making a character model now...?

but yeh...
Any more updates on the model?
