Hey guys,

I was just curious, I know the FS2 cinematics are available, but I loaned my FreeSpace 1 combo pack out, and haven't gotten it back yet, so I'm playing through the FS2 port version. (I like the sleek new graphics anyway, and want to see them all).

However, the port version doesn't include the cinematics, and I really liked those, so I was wondering if anyone who has the CDs, or just the cinematics, in MVE or AVI format could upload them to Molish's FTP for me? Or somewhere else I can download them?

They are up on Fractux's FTP and molish said he had everything that was on Fratux's on his already.

It's actually easier to convert them yourself, 'specially if you're on dialup.  Just follow Karajorma's FAQ, there was a page detailing which programs to use and how exactly to do it.

However Dekzar said he doesn't have the FS1 disks at the moment so it would be rather hard to do the conversions :)

Oh, really, they are on the FTP?

I'll have to look again, couldn't find them last time I checked (Two days ago, but eh, maybe I'm blind.). Thanks.

What about the Freespace 1 Cutscenes? ive never seen those except for the opening on the demo. anywhere/ anyone i could get those off?

Okay. after waiting a week, I finally managed to log on to Fractux's (SP?) FTP server, but I can't find *anything* from the original FreeSpace, nor can I find those movies. It's got all the FS2 stuff, but not the original...

I still haven't been able to access Molish's server, but does anyone have any other ideas/links?

I'm uploading Hallfight to my webspace as we speak. :D

My copy of the ancient monologues appear to have Caspered themselves but I can always convert them again :)

Okay. Hallfight is up. I'll rotate through the movies until someone tells me to stop. It will take me a while to go through them all.

I'll leave this one up for 3/4 days and then swap to another one.

i cant seem to log in...it brings up the web folder, and the log on box, but when i enter the password, it simply takes me straight back to the log box...

So long as you're offering movies, rotate to the intro already.  It's the best one in the series anyhow. :D

Why is the FS1 intro so much better than the rest of them(Hallfight and Endpart1(FS2) tie for 2nd)?  I think it's because it sets up the "Oh "insert epithet here"!!!!  We are dead and don't even know it yet!" mood the best.

I've deleted hallfight but my ISP's FTP was giving me hassle when I tried to upload the FS1 Intro so at the moment there are no cutscenes available.
