Title: Joystick Stupidity
Post by: Petrarch of the VBB on August 26, 2004, 10:17:56 am
I've a Cyborg USB Gold, on which the trigger button refuses to work unless the stick is centred.
All the other buttons work fine, as does the thottle and twistiness.
It's plugged into the front-panel USBs.
Ideas?

It's broken. ;)

Dunno. Take it apart and check the wiring for damage where it goes into the base from the stick. That's all I can think of...

Warranty still valid? Get it replaced by reseller, importer or manufacturer. Whatever is the process for the product.

[color=66ff00]Yeah man, send it back. Never open anything unless it's  out of warranty. They're awfully pernickity about that they'll sometimes discard your claim if it's been opened by an engineer that doesn't work for the company in question.

Erk.

I got mine a couple of years ago and it still works like wonder - thank the higher ones for digital sticks.
It's quite reliable in its own category AFAIK.
