Posted this on NodeWar earlier, but thought i would extend the invite over here, i now have 4 invites to join the beta of googles new email service Gmail.

You get 1Gb storage, a fairly fast service, its not hosted by gaymail, it is hosted by google (always a good thing), oh yeah and its free.

Post if you want an invite, first come first served ... oh and i have to like you.

Naw, me don't need it. Ever since Yahoo got their 100 meg upgrade, and still don't scan your message (like gmail, they scan it for words they can relate advertisements too), I don't need anything else :)

Now, here's an interesting question.

If the maximum storage is 1gb, does that apply to file attachments as well? Could I have like a 500mb file attached to an email? Cause if thats the case, than Gmail could be used as a makeshift FTP server.

oh, and, I already got an account, my brother sent me an invite.

My university gives me 300 MB of webspace and 25 MB for email. I don't really need anything else. :)

btw, they may allow you to have 1GB of storage, but the attachments are limited to 10MB.
