i know i'm beating a dead horse with this, buuut. (see below
i scanned this from PC-Powerplay #104

as you can see, he only got a minor mention.. not exactly earth-shattering news, really.. the article on bethseda picking up the fallout licsence made more of a splash, and got itself half a page.

Imprecise .. that shot is not from FreeSpace 3000AD. :D

And you are not beating a dead horse of FS3 with this, that horse is just about to be conceived.

not infamous, HIG, they're for a niche crowd, not exactly for your casual gamer, that and there's far too much going on in the BC series for your action-starved gamer to worry about..

and the fact that neither of his games (read, all of them) got high scores in any gaming mag, might have something to do with it.
and, as far as i know, there wasn't any real background story behind it..

freespace trumped that by having a storyline to go nicely with the action..

i stand by my opinion of if DS does make an fs3, and go to enact his supposed plans for it, then it won't be freespace bar its name, much like Descent: Freespace wasn't descent bar its name.. a case of history repeating itself, perhaps..
