Albeit, my school-boyish over-enthusiasm dissapeared about 10 seconds after realising I was sitting alone in the house with no-one to show off to.

You'll notice most of them don't play games, so they're about as qualifed to comment as I am to lecture on applied thermodynamics.

They couldn't possibly using a biased sample and totally ignoring the other normal dudes who play games. Their comments are more like
A: "well I heard this guy killed his parents and played videogames as a kid so they're all idiots am i rite"
B: "I heard some idiot killed a lot of guys recently, and hadn't even touched a computer in his entire life! How about that?"
A: "Durrrrrrrr. I dun know 'bout 'em computah games 'ere in Butt****istan, so they're obviously evil."
