So, today I registered with Gmail. It took me about two weeks to do this because I had to do it from school. The reason? When I try to contact gmail.google.com from home, the site times out on me. It doesn't do this to me when I access the site from school. As I did both from my laptop, I'm concluding that it has to be my internet connection at home which is messed up. I'm using a wireless card connecting to a cable modem which is connected to my desktop. Any ideas why I can't get to Gmail from home and ways to fix it?

Nevermind. I got it to work. :doubt:
Sorry 'bout that.

Now it's timing out on me again. So can anybody help?

Proxies are your friends. Contact your ISP to see what proxy they may offer (should be free, you just need to know what domain/IP to put in).

Gmail's the only website that times out from your home?
