Just wondering what the average and steal prices are elsewhere for recordable 80-minute CD-R's and 4.7GB DVD's. Here, CD's average around $20 for a 50-pack (incl. tax), and DVD's at ~$37 for a 25-pack.
Of course, I have a friend who got me a 25-pack of 4.7GB DVD's for $11. :D

50 packs generally go for $25 - $30 here, but if you know the right places you can pick them up for $20.
Not sure about DVD's though...

I got 100 DVD-R's for £15 (+£3 P&P).

How? By stealing them and leaving the cash behind? :)
Seriously though where from?

from the cheap brands you can get 50 CD-Rs for under $15.00. for the more expensive names (imation, Memorex, etc.) over $20.00

One of the bonuses for being a graphics designer for the web page of the national radio station, is that I get an order of all-you-can-eat CD-R's.
As for general price, for a pack of 10 CD's, about $3. I've seen a pack of 100 CD's for $30
